Christmas special

I was just drinking hot cocoa in my RR Diner coffee mug and thinking how it would be cool if Lynch were to do a Twin Peaks Christmas Special instead of another season or movie. A two-hour special could be a good standalone work to tide fans over until he decides what to do next with the series. Maybe scenes at the Bang Bang Bar could feature musicians singing holiday songs and the police station and RR Diner could have Christmas decorations.

Seasons 1 and 2 take place roughly during the Spring Equinox. Season 3 takes place during the Autumn equinox.

I don't think Twin Peaks is able to take place during the Summer or Winter, because those are extremes. Summer is very bright, winter is very dark. Twin Peaks is always somewhere in the middle of light and dark, hence spring or autumn.
