I still don't understand...

The Jack McKay hit...

Since it turned out that Jack McKay was still alive, why did Anthony Marchette take credit for his murder? That storyline never made much sense to me...

reply

i smell nat's involvement in it. maybe marchette was working for nat & wanted to take the fall for his boss? or maybe that's just the scent of mega burger grease...

Maby Marchette thought Jacks murder was successful and that he killed him. But to find out Jack survived it.

reply

Could be this. Makes sense.

Didn't brooder hate his dad anyway? Why would he care about solving the crime.

he'd rather go surfing.

Because Marchette didn't know Jack was alive. Neither did we, the viewers, yet. The point is that Jack went into the witness protection program so Marchette assumed he'd killed Jack and had no reason to think otherwise.

I just finished watching this episode. And the man that planted the device under Jacks car did not look like Marchette.

they could get caught! they always hire a sly hitman.

Oh God. Fortune vomits on my eiderdown once more.

Also, they cremated Jack. The storyline has a long of holes and makes no sense....

reply

Actually, Dylan said he didn't really know what was in the vase. Could have been parts of the seat, since it was"assumed" Jack pretty much disintegrated.

I still don't understand how they were all 16 and driving cars in the first season and then suddenly they were sophomores.

reply

You can be 16 and in sophomore year. Where I went to school, most sophomores were 15 in September then after January turned 16.
