Those scenes were the best parts of the movie to me. Silver acted so cool to Daniel when training him then he would pull the rug out from under to test him every time. I love how Silver told Daniel to stop wasting his time or something & reminding Daniel to cut that Kata crap out & then forgiving him after Daniel got scared & apologized to Silver & then pull the rug out again by pretending to have Daniel use the punching bag to work on but changes his mind & tells him to hit the wood instead at the last second. I don't like Part 3 that much. It's kinda stupid but I really enjoyed Silver's character. He stole the show to me. Anybody else on board?

Silver was so good that he was the inspiration for the villain in American Shaolin.

The Quicksilver™️ method almost turned Daniel from a wimp into a winner. For the first time in the trilogy he showed signs of masculinity. Had he stuck with the program, there’s no telling how far he could have gone.

Omg I agree so so much with u! Daniel was so wimpy & chubby & annoying. That girl he liked even changed her mind about him & she won't date him. Silver was having fun with him by leading him on then pulling the rug. Daniel would've been more of a man if he stayed in training with Silver but how could he when it was all a scam anyway u know 😏

The Quicksilver Method was nothing more than a con to condition Daniel's loss to Barnes. It had no benefits to Daniel whatsoever. It was only meant to increase the punishment he received so Silver and Kreese could obtain their revenge. Everything he taught Daniel he specifically taught Barnes how to counter and take advantage of Daniel.

Would beg to differ. Daniel learned the value of the three D’s that would serve him for the rest of his life. He attained new levels of confidence and agility, defending Jessica’s honour at The Downstairs and becoming a force to be reckoned with. At some point during their training, Silver began to take a genuine interest in Daniel’s development and perhaps felt conflicted about his larger plan. As the pair exited the Downstairs, he seemed genuinely proud of his student, taking satisfaction with the strides he had made. Overall, Daniel’s experience at Cobra Kai was character building.

Well he ended up successful so I'm sure he was happy with that. What happened to Silver? Oh that's right, he went in to re-hab.

Nope uh uh Daniel was not masculine at all in this one. He never really was but it's not his fault since he had no real man to teach him. Miyagi only taught him how to believe in himself & self defense, not the manly stuff.

What the hell was Daniel supposed to with the guy who was harassing Jessica? If he had not been under Silvers tutelage he would have resigned to sulking off into a corner muttering ‘this sucks man!’

You mean the guy who was paid to harass Jessica by Silver. It was a put up job by Mr Slimy himself.

We’ll never know the content of Silver’s conversation with Whiteboy. The details of their arrangement remain a mystery and you shouldn’t make assumptions.

As weak as Daniel was I don't think he would let the girl he liked get harassed. He did try to do something when Barnes kicked the girl earlier in the shop but it wasn't much. Poor Danny just isn't tough enough u know. He also tried to stop Johnny at the beach but he's just not tough enough!
