Spike Lee's acting

If you compare him with, say, Tarantino casting himself and giving distractingly bad performances, Lee doesn’t seem so bad. He’s fine in this film, he fits comfortably into the movie’s world. He’s not a great actor and probably knows it. His acting has never bothered me.

I think that Spike knew that he was the one who had to throw the trash can through Sal's window.

yeah he was terrible. if he was a better filmmaker he would have recast the part.
