you arent trying to imply there that Ed Harris was in Robocop are you?

reply

Robocop is way more my style.

reply

I love The Abyss but I love RoboCop a whole lot more. Peter Weller's acting was great in RoboCop.

DISPLAY thy breasts, my Julia!

reply

The Abyss has it all! nuff said really

comparing apples and oranges

but i am going for Robocop

reply

... comparing apples and oranges ...
Agreed, especially since Ed Harris wasn't in Robocop and Paul Van Oven( LOL) didn't direct it anyway.🐭

reply

Paul Van Oven does have a nice ring to it, though.

Seriously, the OP's 'vs' thread is kinda weird. I could understand Leviathan vs The Abyss, or Deep Star Six vs The Abyss, but Robocop? Seems really random.

How about Dragnet vs The Abyss? Or Police Academy 4 vs The Abyss?

reply

Exactly my point!

reply

Damn, that's a tough question because both movies are in my desert island choices.

I would say the Abyss though. I *beep* love Robocop, but the Abyss has a great deal more to offer in the humanity dept.

reply

I've never seen Robcop, is it any good? I'm assuming it has Rob Lowe?

Robocop on the other hand is a pretty good movie, and so is The Abyss. Although, Robocop has a much more enjoyable final act than the extended version of The Abyss, I've never seen the theatrical version.

reply

No no, If you pause it during the van chase seen Rob Lowe can be seen in a passing car casually reading a newspaper.

reply

This is a joke right?

reply

i haven't seen a Paul Van Oven film in years
