This film is atrocious

This is quite possibly the worst movie ever. The only competition would be Friday the 13th. Not only is the plot mildly retarded, but the characters and actors in the movie show attributes that are comparable to my 9 year old cousin with down synndrome. A biking accent in the middle of an isolated farm is horribly pathetic. Not only would an accident this severe not even cause any permanent damage, it sure as hell wouldn't kill the person. From the death of his son, some random backward ass redneck summons some crazy ass demon with wings that looks like a burnt muppet from space with a huge head.

Anyone who finds this movie frightening should be sterilized.

However... on the comedy side, we are rating this movie a 10.

I like how this idiot apparently thought///back when he was a young kid I guess...that a little kid getting hit by a motorcycle couldn't cause any damage to him. Hope he thought he was that invincible and tried out that theory himself.

Are you kidding? I love this movie! It's one of the better horror movies out there. There's so much crap in the way of horror movies and this is a gem compared to all off them.

I'm Oddly Even, who the hell are you?

I think this is one of those films that somehow gets better with age.

As I recall, Pumpkinhead did not get much respect in the 80's or 90's. It was one of those gimmicky, cheap horror rentals with the worn covers you used to find in the back of the movie rental store.

Lately it has been getting more air time on cable, and I actually watched it all the way through. As it turns out, it is not that bad. The demon is pretty well done and it is not as gimmicky as I used to think.

This movie was dog shit.

you're dog shit for thinking that.

Pumpkinhead was and still is awesome for a late 1980s horror movie. Plus Stan Winston directed the movie and created the Pumkinhead himself

I vaguely recall watching it with my roommates in 1990 and expecting it to be trash and thinking it was actually pretty decent.

This month I was looking for horror flicks I haven't already seen a million times, and I noticed Pumpkinhead on 4K so I grabbed it. I remembered absolutely nothing about it, other than that I thought it wasn't bad.

33 years later, I still think it's a good watch. Just the right amount of 80s cheese.

You'd have to have a huge 2x4 up your ass to think this movie sucks.

Agreed...

Either a 2x4 or you just haven't seen very many films. Worst horror film ever that has at least one big name actor in it has to be Legend Of The Mummy (1998), not sure if you've seen it. It's a truly awful film. In fact, I would say it's the worst movie ever made not just the worst horror film.

Pumpkinhead is a good film, the hate that it sometimes gets is really not justified.
