Besides Elm Street 2 and Fright Night

The relationship between the protagonist and Almer is super homoerotic. His addiction to the phallic little monster's "juice". His searching leather clubs at night and public showers for brains and oral sex. The lingering shots Henenlotter takes of young men iin their underwear.

I'm not pointing this out as a knock against it. I think this film being so gay is what helps make it special and important.
