This Has Remained My Fav Comedy Since I Saw It In Theater In 1987

Amazing. Anybody else see it in the theater and feel it has held up after all these years? I still have never seen a theater laughing as hard as they were when I originally saw this film. They were practically rolling in the aisles. Legendary film.

One of my favorites too, very funny but also surprisingly sad and bittersweet at the end.

I was a bit too young to see it in theater. In 1987 I'd have only been about five, but oddly enough I remember that my dad went to see it.

It's definitely a great comedy and it is certainly THE Thanksgiving movie.

I've long thought that Steve Martin is a bit underrated and it's a shame that his film career has really fizzled out over the last decade. And of course we all know how great John Candy is. RIP.
