When is he going to be back as he said in the post credits scene?? Been waiting 24 years here.

There was a sequel in some degree of pre-production and Laird Hamilton was going to replace Dolph Lundgren. She-Ra was going to be in it too, but the financial loss from this film and Cannon (the production company) being unable to pay Mattel's licencing fees meant it couldn't be made. However, the costumes and sets were used in the movie Cyborg in 1989 instead.

I did not know that. I've got to re-watch Cyborg. One of the Van Damme movies I've never appreciated when I was younger.

Have fun. It's not my favorite, but it has some interesting moments.

THAT'S FUNNY..CYBORG WAS EASILY ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF HIS AS A KID...ALONG WITH UNIVERSAL SOLDIER AND HARD TARGET LATER.
