Did Ace ever get his revenge?
Ace was more than just a bully; he was a sociopath who was perfectly willing to slash a kid's throat in order to claim a reward. Didn't the boys fear he would seek revenge - in a big way - and did he ever do it?
shareRegarding the film version, I'm not quite so sure. I wouldn't mess with Gordie. He has that gun and can use it at any time. While he can't carry it all the time, if Ace did something bad to him, he could use it at a later time against him.
I know it's Chris' family's gun, but I'm sure Gordie could get access, if he already didn't hang on to it.

It's true the movie doesn't tell us, but I'd assume the narrator would've mentioned it if Ace got back at them like he did in the novel.
