Ok im a huge arnold fan, have every arnold movie on atleast vhs except raw deal, and red sonja. but this movie kicks ass. ending was awesome, him driving around in a car with the rolling stones playing just capping people was laughable but overall good movie
shareRaw Deal (a 1940s movie has that same title and is much better) is neither one of Arnold's best, nor among his worst... it is somewhere in the middle.
Now, compare to The Terminator and Commando, this is a pretty mediocre action movie. But, if judge on its own merits, then it's honestly a solid movie. And say what you want about his acting here (which was actually better than most people say), but you can't deny that Arnold was at his best in all the action scenes.

Raw deal is great and its a whole lot better than any of Arnies recent stuff ( the last stand and onwards )
no, this is overrated on here, this is not so highly rated because it's not that good at all. it's really bland and generic and boring. it was hard to sit through. none of the fight scenes stood out, none of the bad guys stood out, even Arnold seemed bland in this movie.
