I shamelessly admit this is one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies: love it. I've weirdly never purchased it, instead loving the serendipity of finding it randomly on telly (usually around Halloween). So, caught the 2nd half on the aptly named Comet TV tonight, & they showed the full credits: guess who played "2nd Woman"? Marla Maples, who went on to become Donald Trump's 2nd wife (ex-wife #2), & mother of Tiffany Trump. I have to wonder: did The Donald ever see this movie? Somehow, it doesn't seem as though it would be in his wheelhouse, but no judgment, really.

It's always weird to see how connected Donald is to all the Hollywood bigwigs, politicos and journalists who supposedly 'hate' him.

God, the US is such a fucking incestuous nation, in more ways than one.

I mean, I suppose these people hate Trump because they've actually met and know him, but I can't help thinking that the upper echelons of society is all one big country club and the elites, including Donald, Stephen King, and Marla, are a bunch of spoiled children fighting amongst one another, whilst the *rest of us* (you know, the 'little people' no-one gives a shit about) suffer.

I'm going to say yes. They were married for 6 years. It probably went something like this:

Donald: You were in Maximum Overdrive? Where?
Marla: It's right here *pops VHS in*
Donald: That's so dumb! Great music.
Marla: I know. Best part was when the computer called King an asshole
Donald: let's see that again *watches* That's the Greatest!
