Is it just me or do many people not talk about this show?

I feel the Real Ghostbusters don't seem to get a lot of mention and not many people seem to talk about this show.

People talk about it more than...say...that Crash Test Dummy cartoon. It probably did not help that the DVD set was really expensive and hard to source during the DVD resurgence of 80s cartoons 20 years ago. I paid about $110+shipping for the Fire House set.

Edit: Bad example. The Incredible Crash Test Dummies was a cartoon special and not a series.

Is that right? I remember this show was hugely popular back in the late 1980's then disappeared.

I think a lot of nostalgia for this show has been absorbed and assumed into nostalgia attributed to the original movie.

I liked most of the first 76 episodes of this show til they changed the voice actors and writing so that Slimer was the main character and all the Ghostbusters were forcibly changed to never get mad at him.
