One of the all time great 80's films?

I loved this movie as a kid, and I love even more today. Yes, it has its problems with editing, and the opening scene is a little WTF worthy. I still think this movie is fab due to Michael Moriarty's Mo Rutherford. It is a fun film that is perfectly paired with some popcorn and a glass of chocolate wine!

Michael is a treasure to watch

Truer words have yet to be spoken, my friend.

There's so many fantastic 80's horror flicks out there, so it's hard for me to say where exactly this would compare with others, but The Stuff is an extraordinarily fun flick, and Moriarty's character is both memorable and fun.

Plenty of great 80s flick, for sure, but The Stuff is an absolute one of a kind.

Great - No
Fun - Yes

I'd rate it good, not great.

Definitely a step above most b horror movies. At a time when formulaic slashers were dominating, Cohen was willing to do something different.
