There's a reason why Terry O'Quinn always had work and continues to be in demand nearly 30 years later.

reply

Terry O’ Quinn didn’t give the speech. It was Brady’s dad who is played by Kent Broadhurst..

reply

It was Terry O'Quinn as the sheriff who gave the speech, but then Brady's dad showed the photo of his son and said that he was going to hunt up some private justice.

reply

Wrong. The private justice speech is from Brady’s dad.

We were referring to Sheriff Haller's (Terry O'Quinn) speech: "The law has a name for what you people are planning. It's called "private justice". And private justice is about a step and a half away from lynch mobs and hang ropes. Now I may be no J. Edgar Hoover, but I am the law in Tarker's Mills. I want all you people to go home."

Brady's dad does indeed respond, and then concludes that he was going to hunt up some private justice, but Sheriff Haller was the one who initiated the talk about private justice to begin with.

Yup.

Exactly. And Terry O'Quinn is awesome.

Terry and Megan are the best actors in this. Gary Busey is just being Gary. Some of the others are poor. Lawrence Tierny is his usual gruff but cool self.

*WTF?

reply

yah, good stuff.
