actually i found that scene just incredibly sleazy and uncomfortable, the paris trip is a part i skip as this airs, and when i was a kid i found the scene where they were chased by germans scary, the london visit has many recognisable faces like eric idle in a very funny part "it's just a flesh wound"... "it's just a leg, really. i've got another one." and the permanent resident in fawlty towers hotel, speaking of idle, i've read he and chevy chase had plans for another vacation movie in the 1980s with the family travelling to australia. people's favorite movie vary a lot, i took for granted "vegas vacation" was in the bottom, but many have that as their favorite, personally i find "christmas vacation" far superior, odd how each movie have different child actors (half the board wonders about that), the original audrey did return in cousin eddie's 2003 spin off though. i think of this franchise as family movies for obvious reasons, so it's weird how much nudity and cursing they contain, they seemed to clean up the later movies though (christmas vacation and vegas vacation).

my body you chained,
to in front tease and play,
with talent out of this world,
like an animal worked me up,
had me agree to anything to unchain your love.

Uncomfortable? It's a comedy, you oversensitive weenie!

It's a hilarious scene. Only people who don't like humor or big tits would find it offensive.
