Don't get me wrong, I liked the movie bad Boys 2, but they completely ripped off the part of Police Story in the beginning where the cars drive down hill through the shack village. Near the end of Bad Boys 2, they do the same thing. Its almost reproduced shot for shot. I guess this was an homage to Police Story, but still.

I didnt realize how much of a classic movie this was. I'd only heard it was one of the few movies where comedy is not as much of a driving force as in Chan's other movies.

what if i tell u christopher nolan ripped off one of chan's film (new police story aka police story 4), where in the scene chan's character put a coat over a young boy which his dad just died. Nolan inadvertently used this scene to create a moral ideology for his dark knight series which is most obvious at the final installment's last few minutes where batman told gordon that a hero could be anybody, "even a guy that put a coat over a kid shoulder". In this context, Gordon was Chan and Batman was the Kid.

shareOMG I knew I had seen an identical scene to this in another movie. You've just solved the mystery. Having said that, I thought Bad Boys 2 was pretty crappy and I kind of thought the scene was in another older movie or at least a better one than BB2. However it seems you are right. Thanks.
