shareI think she felt he was beneath her as she was used to rich men begging for dates having class and style. I think Blanche even knew it was an empty life style as she cried every Thursday and said it was hard sometimes being her. I think Blanche really needed confidence and reassurance as her relying on her looks and how men thought of her indicated. She was lucky to have friends getting her out of bad relationships and giving her the comfort she needed.
