This was the first movie I ever saw Kirstie Alley in. It wasn't much of a part admittedly, but she stuck in my mind for being rather hot looking - especially in the scene where they make her strip down to her bra! Ah, to be so young again.....

That was a long time ago though, and now she's turned into the Pilsbury Doughboy, who looks like he's just finished eating Rosie O'Donnell.

Shame.

Yup, she was pretty damn smokin' in this. Too bad we don't get to see any of her private parts. Damn you, PG-13!

Kirstie Alley was Playboy quality in RUNAWAY. She had the near-perfect, proportionate, curvy (not too much) figure. Everything was good. Only her raspy voice was a little off-putting. In her leather miniskirt and black nylons she was hot. Why did Kirstie Alley let herself go is anyone's guess. I'm not so certain it was all due to lack of self-discipline and possibly due to physiological imbalances.

She had a lot of drug and alcohol problems around this time. Once she got sober, her acting roles started to dwindle. I think she made sobriety a priority over diet. I still like to see her on shows and interviews as she is smart, witty, and still hot with her current weight loss.

Lots of Americans let themselves go in the last 20 years. There's just so much easy to access/cheap junk food they're addicted to they can't stop. Kristie is no exception.

I read an interview with her regarding Star Trek II and she said her favourite memory of making the movie was all the freshly baked donuts they were available on set. Yum

If shed done Star Trek III I guess she wouldn't have been in Runaway (so shed have probably had the same long permed hairdo in Trek III as she had in Runaway as the actress they got to replace her in Trek III had the same long perm style..mustve just been the fashion in 84)

Everything about her was unbelievably amazing. When they first showed her in the office, i thought, "Wow! She is going to go really far in Hollywood." I guess i must have based it on looks alone..

Not sure what to think of her now..
