So many strange creepy scenes

The blonde girl faces Freddy in the alleyway. Nancy sees her dead friend calling her name in the school hall under a body bag. Nancy is met up by that hall monitor wearing that red & green sweater. Um...trying to think...Freddy sticks his tongue out of the phone & tells the girls he's the new boyfriend now omg! All the scenes are still so creepy yea especially if u watch them on a really big TV with surround sound! And the Freddy song is so so spooky.

An odd scene is where Nancy's mom Marge tells her the horrifying tale of who Fred Kruger was and even shows her his glove with the knives. Then tells her she can sleep now. As if you'd want to go to sleep after hearing that.

The mother was a total drunk & was really out of her mind sometimes. It was so good to see Freddy pull her through the window like that in the end. That scene creep me out because of spooky jump rope song at the same time.

Freddy was scary in this. This was before he became a comedian by the time of the third movie.

Yea he was doing freaky creepy things a lot I know right. He did start making jokes much in the sequels especially by the 4th & 5th movie.

I'd argue he was scary til the middle of the 3rd movie when he was saying things like, "What's the matter, Joey? Got yourself tonguetied?" Still way better than parts 4, 5, and 6. Though I like Freddy's Dead more than parts 4 and 5. It's not very good but I still find it funner than 4 and 5.

I think comedic Freddy is more famous than the 'original' character. I'd say he is at his most scary in part 2 which most seem to forget even exists. It's probably why people were upset that he was turned into a pedophile in the remake. They thought it ruined the 'likeable' killer they knew. But he wasn't in the original, and Wes had originally planned to make Freddy a pedophile but didn't because of some scandal in the area at the time of the movie's release.

The Dream Warriors is likely the most appreciated entry in the series (well, or maybe the most liked sequel, it's still rated lower than the original). Or at least I was under that impression. Even if Freddy may have had his comedic moments in that one it was still not comedic in its tone. Part 4 seems to be generally liked too, but I don't really care for it since they killed off all the characters from the third movie which I thought was lame. Very few people like part 5, though, and I'm included among them. I also like Freddy's Dead as that one is my 'guilty pleasure' or what you call it of the series.
