Keep on trending

For some reason, people want to trend this title, so I'm going to jump on the bandwagon. Why? Because this movie is awesome. I even have the soundtrack cd, signed by Alan Howarth. I also have Dick Warlock's autograph, because he plays the mustard filled robot.

Aww dizip hairbox! Welcome aboard. That's what Grimbridge said to Challis. In bed!

Love the name by the way. Very erotic.

Then, Tom Atkins doesn't wear underwear. Don't forget about that. That's the sexiest part.

reply

Oh no, not the underwear debate again. He does wear underwear. He's just good at keeping them concealed tightly in his pants when he undresses/dresses. Otherwise, first sight of his ghastly stains might send Robo-Ellie into a terminator like frenzy.

I'm with you Hairy, but I've got to give you a warning. The moderators are all over this board and deleting posts left and right.

If you look down a couple of threads, Glenny started a thread similar to yours (I think it was "We're trending y'all" or something like that), and the moderators deleted it (That's why it just says "Deleted" now).

And if you look at our "One More Year" thread, there are TONS of deleted posts--all done by moderators.

We've been given no warnings or explanations as to why. We all get along just fine here. Yeah, we go off-topic from time to time, but it's all harmless good fun.

The General Discussion boards are filled with all sorts of fighting and nonsensical threads, yet you won't see anything getting deleted over there.

So why this one? Why are they picking on us? I've even wrote to Jim directly and have yet to get an answer.

I told them when they were thinking of selecting moderators that it would be a bad idea--that moderators ALWAYS abuse their power, and that it never goes well, and sure enough...

reply

In all fairness soggy I used some pretty harsh language in my trending post but some that weren't bad at all got deleted too. Oh well. Tomorrow is another gonk

Children, we leave our food at the table.

Speaking of leaving things at the table. I'm going to leave my Stapler on Ellen's desk. Then come by later and say I forgot it. I'll be sure to leave some toilet paper dangling out of my back pocket (since I don't have a handkerchief) Then i'll blow cigeratte smoke in her face and say "I don't know what the hell is going on." Then I'll tell her I'm ok with sleeping in her car. Then... wait nevermind. I value my job. Think I'll just ask Teddy out later. She's always good for a dinner or two. And a drilling later.

reply

I see harsh language all over these boards, and it never gets deleted. If they didn't want it, they would filter it out (like IMDb did). That's one thing that I really like about MovieChat is that they let you say what you want to say.

You've done nothing wrong Glenn. I've read all of your posts before they were deleted, and they were all harmless and in good fun (same with Teegy's posts).

But the fact that you're taking some of the blame just shows what a class-act you are.

Way to take one for the team, my friend! MovieChat moderators could learn a lot from you!

reply

Glenn is like our own little Teddy. He's good for looking up information without a computer or google. Can sift through car parts and is always on call. Heck, he'd take a 2 bit drill bit to his head for us.

all, Jack-ffO-Lanterns.

Welcome! And don't forget the Big Put-Out at nine.

reply

Thank you y'all. I like bending over and taking everyone, er, I mean taking ONE for the team.

Don't worry. When the planets align, these moderators are going to feel a slight pressure in their Silver Shamrock masks.

The Doctor will bone you now.

Glennhead: “Where do you want to sleep, Doctor Soggy?”

Dr. Soggy: “That’s a dumb question, Miss Glennhead.”

I'm a woman now?! But they don't have rights!

I'll do my part in helping H3 to trend and it's a true story: just this past week one my co-workers produced a photograph of himself , Stacey Nelkin, and Tom Atkins from '82. He had done stand-in work for Atkins in the film. This was a trip because I've watched H3 every Halloween since the 80's.

Dr. Dan here, moved on over from the original HIII IMDB boards. I spent most of my time on the HII, F13 Pt 2, and this board.

Hoping to find myself back in the Thunderdome that was those boards, filled with fellow horror-lovers

what say all you?

reply

Welcome Metatron and Dandy-Dan!

It's good to have you back!

{and thanks to Legnadibrom for keeping us on the trending-line}

reply

i will stop you

In California, you never know.

reply

yes, H3 was shot in california, but that won't stop me from stopping you from trending this movie for no good reasons

What's the matter? Don't you have any Halloween spirit?
