Lizard Twin baby

Was anybody else besides me saddened by the death of the lizard baby? I felt so sorry for it.

reply

Oh, absolutely. That was a very moving sequence.

I was angered by the clear racism of it! Sure, the "green" baby dies, and the white baby lives. What's up with that?

reply

Not really.

If I were to point to a single point where the original V started to fall apart it was when that muppet crawled out of Robin Maxwell's vagina.

reply

That's V: The Final Battle, NOT Kenneth Johnson's original masterpiece.

reply

It was both tragic and hysterical at the same time. It was tragic because it was a baby dying, but it was hysterical because it was the cheapest looking alien that (as a child)I had ever seen. Really, with the huge budget that V The Final Battle had they couldn't do better than that?

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

reply

Well, if it hadn't died, then there wouldn't be the plot point where they discover in the autopsy a hybrid bacteria in the corpse and realize that it could be used as a weapon to finally kick the lizards off our planet.

reply

In a way the twins became the saviors of humanity. One gives the vaccine and the other uses their ability to wipe out the spaceships.

reply

No. I was too busy being infuriated that they named the half-lizard baby "Liz"

reply

It was a cute little ghoulie.

reply

Yes, it was sad but I did not the baby to live long anyway.
