What happened to the crew of USS Reliant?

Were they forgotten? Did 1st officer Chekov forget about his crew?
Will they seek revenge?

Killed? I assumed Khan's men killed them and ran the ship themselves.

They were left on that shit hole Khan and his crew were on. I'm sure it mentions it somewhere in the movie.

Been too long since I've seen the movie. I defer to you and I will assume you're right until such a time as proven otherwise.

In that case, I'd assume that after the film, Kirk and co. flew back to Ceti Alpha system and retrieved the crew of the Reliant.

Tes. I just re-watched it and Checkov says that they are back on Ceti Alpha 5
