Replicant in first scene.

Replicant in first scene.

Was the replicant supposed to be faking being slow?

Was the replicant really slow?

Why didn't security check him before the test?

He shot the man asking questions.
He should have been searched to avoid that.

Their security team obviously didn't have your expertise.

reply

Thank you. I have 27 years worth.

reply

That's quite obvious.

reply

The scene was just meant to show that the replicants are violent and unstable.

reply

Whoosh! Stick to Transformers movies.

reply

They seemed to think that replicants didn't know what the testing was for. Nevertheless, it seemed a bit strange there wasn't any security because replicants were known to be dangerous.

My impression was that the replicant was pretending to be a standard working class guy. He didn't really strike me as "slow" as unfamiliar or uneducated about what was going on, and thus asking questions. Though that of course, was PRETENSE, imo.
