As a Horror main, the genre used to be well known for it's nudity. Topless scenes were the norm and expected. Nowadays it's a pleasant surprise worth noting should a film contain one.
They're deemed as trashy, misogynistic and sexist nowadays. Hipster college wankers refer such scenes as the 'male gaze'. You see Men appreciating beautiful Women is bad apparently. You can't have content appealing to heterosexual Men on a sexual level.
The bastards who deemed topless scenes as exploitative and sexist are vermin who half-ruined cinema.
