Halloween II reveals that Michael Myers and Laurie Strode are siblings. Return of the Jedi reveals that Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia are siblings.

Michael Myers burns to a crisp at the end of this movie. Anakin Skywalker burns to a crisp at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

Was George Lucas influenced by this movie?

Are you joking? It is hard to tell sometimes.

The events you refer to in Star Wars were established somewhere between 1977 and 1980 by George Lucas and Leigh Brackett.

Leigh Brackett also just so happens to be the name of the sheriff in Halloween.
