I don't even know who'd you would cast now. Jason Momoa was perfect nine years ago but he's probably too busy with Aquaman.

i hope they just round up every unknown, dark haired huge barbarian looking dude they can find and pick the one with the best acting ability and personality.

They're gonna find some gay black dude and cast him in the role, or if they do go with someone who can pass for white, he's going to be the most soy-looking guy they could find, probably of the lean-muscle variety that would get more looks from gay guys than girls.
I hate Netflix and I know their motto all too well.
Even if they DO cast the lead of Conan correctly, expect all sorts of other PC, woke garbage to fill out the rest of the series. There's no way they're going to do anything like the original Arnold flick or even the Momoa flick (and I actually did like Momoa in the role of Conan, he was just in a really bad movie).
Okay so Marvel just lost the rights to Conan the Barbarian.
