Christmas Evil VS Silent Night Deadly Night

Which one is the better Killer Santa movie

I saw these both 3 years ago about a week apart. From what I remember, Christmas Evil was actually better in terms of the filmmakers actually trying to make something good. Silent Night, Deadly Night is more entertaining and campy. It's hard to choose between the two.

I agree with this. SNDN is more entertaining, but Christmas Evil is a better made film.

Just sat through 'Silent Night, Deadly Night' (and it improved a little since I first saw it, about 20 years ago) but currently watching 'Christmas Evil' right now (which I've seen several times) and it's the much better movie (despite not being an out and out gore-fest)
