Why did they edit out this part on the CMT channel?

Why did they edit out the part when the "Swamp Fever" guy's carriage started rolling down the road and Buford T. Justice drives by him and Junior asks Buford what the carriage was, I don't understand why they've needed to edit out that scene, they even edited out the scene where the ambulance driver drives around the alligator

A lot of times they cut parts out of a movie to make room for more commercials and to get the movie within the time alloted(for example a 2 hour movie from 7:00 - 9:00).

I just saw this scene recently on TV and it sounded like the guy was saying Covid fever. I don't know how you came up with Swamp
