Still the best, if not most outrageous plot

Agreed, yes.

This along with You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Die Another Day seem to be the most "comic book"-like Bond movies. I mean, in Moonraker, there are space marines (they had Aliens beat by a good seven years) with blasters! The US had at least one shuttle filled with troops armed and ready to go into space combat at a moment's notice. Now almost 40 years later, not only do we not have a Space Force, we don't have blasters. Heck, we don't even have a way to get into space, unless we pay someone else!

this looks like a pretty usual calm movie before they hit space... who am i kidding... the giant with metal teeth, the guy crashing down a piano... man it felt good to see bond smack around that sneaky little villain, who had previously made him pass out while dr goodhead was away, it feels like they pulled out all the stops for this bond movie and just went full speed ahead, mixing all sorts of things including a western movie vibe, to end in space... the more i watch this bond movie the more i like it, (i usually skip the half dull that came after this "for your eyes only"), i used to think this was one of the weaker when it comes to villain, soundtrack and so on, but the villain is actually great, how he intends to create a "master race"... i always found it a bit moving how bond convinces jaws to switch over to the good side, and like "don't worry, jaws will make it"... ahum... he was like a mass murderer twenty minutes earlier. but that's bond, best not to overthink things. the brazilian girl there to help bond out was a really sweet role, a lot of good bond girls in this, as the one, spoiler, who gets the dogs let loose on her in the woods, what an eerie scene.
