I noticed the peculiar under-shorts thing they are wearing during hypersleep and it got me thinking that they must be nappies because the body surely keeps producing waste as they sleep.
Kane was having a big meal before going back into the freezers so his body would go and poo out the waste from it at some stage. The bladder and bowels can't just hold it in for months or years.
OH...YOU WOULD BE SURPRISED WHAT A MAN'S BOWELS CAN HOLD.🙂
shareI agree but we’re most certainly on the clock, I don't know about you Kowalski, but when I eat a fully loaded burrito bowl with a bag of chips from Chipotle, I wake up in the morning and sometimes feel as though I won’t make it to the bathroom.😅

share I think the reason for the undergarments was because the studio didn't want a "nude scene" for the actors.
I have the DVD with Ridley Scott's commentary and he states very emphatically that the crew would be naked in hypersleep. But the studio nixed his idea and he had to compromise.
