I'd say she was game.

She has done several nude scenes post-Alien and even some topless photoshoots.

She went topless for the awakening from the pods at the beginning of Alien but it wasn't used in the final film.

I suppose it is a given -- or WAS a given in the decades before today -- that a new young actress out to establish herself in movies had to be willing to "show some skin" to get a key role.

Once the R rating arrived in 1968, nudity and topless scenes were OK to film...so there was more pressure on an actress to do so. It was up to them...and usually, if they did it in a few early films, they STOPPED doing it once they were established as a serious actress.

For all of the talk about the unique and groundbreaking SciFi horrors in Alien, I do remember quite a lot of talk -- with photos to go with it -- of Sigourney Weaver's "near nudity" at the end of the movie.

What's funny is: the near nudity made sense. Every other human is dead, and she thinks she has left the Alien behind on the mother ship. She's all alone except for the cat. Why NOT strip down -- there's nobody around except millions of movie goers in theaters around the world!
