I dont think people would be happy if I decided to make films where the one rule is that EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the film HAD to be white!
There are dozens of films that seem to follow The Wiz's rule, and I feel pretty offended by it all. Its almost like the makers seems to be saying black people can only enjoy films with a black cast. We are not a different species!
Everybody was white in the Wizard of Oz. No one complained. The Wiz is a retelling of that story from a black perspective. Looks like somebody missed the point.

Your post dosen't really make any damn sense. Especially since virtually the majority of films made in Hollywood are about white people. They pretty much ARE all white. So why are you even whining about ONE film where the cast is all black? FYI, black people do want to see films about people that look like us--I don't know why if you're black, you would even have a problem with an all-black film--it's not like they're made every day, and Hollywood only makes a couple of of them year anyway.
I love this movie. I don't care that it's all black. I love the story, the sets, the music and the dancing.
