the Extended Version and the Smith Grove board meeting with Loomis

Do you think Loomis was trying to do the right thing by trying to tell those two lunk heads about Myers or would you agree with those two men that Loomis was being a bit out of line?

reply

Based on what everyone else observed they weren't making an unreasonable decision. Loomis was somehow able to read Michaels face even though no one else could. Considering he'd already killed once I would have taken Loomis' opinion under consideration. But it's hard to say because any second opinion would have told you he was a vegetable.

I agree with Loomis, but I think it goes realistically. I've not worked in that exact type of setting, but I've worked in similar settings, healthcare related, sometimes mildly on the psych side. And the way this goes rings true. Oftentimes, the person who actually has a best read on the patient in question will be over-looked and dismissed by the powers that be, who most likely only have the most glancing familiarity with the patient. This will be because the powers that be simply don't like what message that worker is giving, and they want to present something more pleasant, more palatable.
