If they ever remake this they need to cast younger actors

Travolta was 24 and ONJ was 30 when this movie came out , a little too old to be in high school

If they insist on 14 to 18 year old actors, they will be hard pressed to find any with the fully developed talent and professional experience of the original movie's cast.

Well we know they won’t be white or straight. Music will be changed to hip hop. And no one will watch.

Doesn't change that they were great in the roles, a 14 year old wouldn't be able to sing or act.

Don't be silly , they don't have to be 14 , any actors in the range 18-20 would be good enough to look not out of place like someone who is 30
