I'm really surprised this is now on Disney+ of all sites!

I thought Disney was all about wholesome family entertainment, not gruesome horror like this and the other two Omen movies!

How did this come to happen? There don't seem to be many cuts, but I thought that a lot of stuff on 20th Century Fox movies would require cutting?

Yeah, these movies are pretty dark. I mean, the devil wins in the first two movies. Haven't seen the third yet, but I'm guessing they finally triumph over Damien in that one.

The first two movies are, in a sense, domestic dramas

Really...the whole Disney making kids movies only thing changed way back in the 80s when they introduced Touchstone Pictures distribution company, and offshoot of Disney intended foe making more grown up movies.

And.on Disney Plus, they have a separate section called Star Movies, which shows adult orientated movies.

Hard to believe there are still people who think Disney only make kids films...

I remember being stunned upon finding out that Starship Troopers (1997) is a Disney movie. And The Rock (1996). And Color of Night (whatever year that was). And more recently Deep Water (2022).

Disney and wholesomeness have long ago parted ways. Loooong ago.
