shareI feel the same. Like you, I'm not exactly sure, but I would say that after watching it, you are left wondering about these women and the roles they really play in each other's lives.
At one time, I even speculated that all three may just be three parts of one woman. I suppose that sounds silly, but the movie is compelling to watch and it really does give one a lot to think about.
I think the 3 in 1 theory is pretty common. I'm really not sure what the message is and I'm not sure I need to know. It's highly underrated.
