interested? I'm not. I love Lauren but not this story. It just doesn't interest me. I love Michael and Lauren but not this.

I really don't know. I wasn't watching back then. I guess he is not alive now? Or wouldn't she say she had to call him, too?

Yeah, exactly.

I might be wrong, but I have a vague memory of Shelia Carter stealing Lauren's baby (Scott?). But I can't remember the father...

As for interest in the story, I do feel a bit "oh well" because he isn't an established character. Lauren only mentions him in a great while, and most of the time, she, (and I) forget he exists.

It is hard to feel for a guy we know nothing about and never see.

That's true, and since he is coming on to the show, I guess he survives his "terrible" ordeal [ roll eyes].

The father was Scott Grainger, a doctor. Kind of "pretty". Never thought he and Lauren had chemistry. Scott and Sheila had a one-night-stand. Lauren and Sheila became pregnant around the same time. Sheila's baby was stillborn, and she stole Lauren's. That was an ordeal, but Lauren did get Scottie back. Apparently, the character of Scott died while on The Bold and the Beautiful. I don't watch that show.

Nope, not interested. Did we even get to see the rescue? All I saw were a couple of guys kind of out of breath.

After Kevin rescued him, there was something weird about him leaving with Kevin. I'm crossing my fingers that he'll go full-blown psychopath on them, and not a exploitative, "war veteran PTSD"-mental illness type of story. Between Lauren blubbering over Scottie and that idiotic Victoria-Reid-Billy bullcrap, I can't be the only one FFing through half of the show.

And what doesn't sit well, though, is that suddenly the $10 million being forked over to kidnappers which endangers other journalists and servicemen/women ... but thankfully it's not RL and I'll get over myself. (grrrrrrrrrr)

Yes, there is something strange about Scottie. I just don't know yet, what his REAL story is yet. I do know, Lauren fretting is really getting old!
