Any lip readers out there that can confirm exactly what is read from HAL’s perspective (even if it’s just recycled dialogue)?

Yes I know the actors confirmed that no additional dialogue shots were filmed but I am curious as to which segment of Dave and Frank’s discussion was specifically chosen by Kubrick to be shown from HAL’s perspective.
Thank you to anyone who contributes something!

Not sure, but going from memory, they are debating whether or not to shut down HAL. The camera fades away and shows them speaking generally on the same topic through the window.

It is not important what is being said in that brief time period. It is important that it shows that HAL has been reading their lips and knows what they are talking about. He knows they decided to shut him down.

I agree that what is being said is not important as it relates to the film’s narrative, my curiosity is solely based on Kubrick’s obsessive nature, and what segment of the conversation he felt compelled to showcase from Hal’s perspective.

There was a secret message like that embedded in Red Dwarf in the episode "Backward" , in some of the reversed dialogue
