I know this has probably been discussed before, but I've often wondered if Trelane was a Q. Anyone else?

There is no shortage of powerful aliens populating the Star Trek universe. Arguably the Q could be ranked at the top. But Trelane doesn't seem to meet the Q level of power despite the popularity of the theory. How would you rank the Metrons who forced Kirk to fight the Gorn? Or the Organians who halted the outbreak of war between the Federation and Klingons fleets? How about the Douwd alien called Kevin who wiped out the entire Husnock species in TNG (THe Survivors)?

I love that episode. "you don't understand the scope of my crime"...
I also love how Picard's scrotum shrunk to nothingness after Kevin revealed how he wiped out an entire race of beings with a single thought: "we have no laws to fit your crime"...
