Talky film

I thought the script was written rather well. I didn't feel any real drag. I think it would be normal for a fair amount of technical jargon to be used in this type of environment. I'm prior military and found this to be essentially so.

You are talking about a script written by the great Rod Serling. It's an adult movie not a CGI film for fanboys.

Go watch your star wars or your comic book movie.

That's what makes it so good--grownups having interesting conversations, rather than just juvenile chasing and fighting, chasing and fighting.

Some movies benefit from being talky. Instead of throwing punches, the characters trade barbs. Each declaration or plot twist has the impact of an explosion.

The movie never takes off. It's all talk about a coupe d'etat but where's the damn coupe?!
