why is it called "12 ANGRY Men"?

Most of the jurors in the film didn't appear to be particularly angry people. Frustrated at times perhaps, but ANGRY?

Just an observation.

Because it's a title that is short and interesting. It attracts your attention and makes you want to see what it's about. But I do think that nearly everyone got angry at some time, if only a little bit angry.

You are right. The film is titled very poorly. They could have found 100 better names for the movie. The characters are predominately not angry.

You're right, it should have been called ' 12 Slightly Miffed Men '.
