I thought old love was going to be the problem, like they thought they escaped but she brought the monster, or whatever it was, back on the ship.
Really liked this movie though. Hardcore startrek vibes for a fifties flick.

I thought the ending felt much like that of Return of the Jedi.

It's excellent sci-fi, way ahead of its time, and it undoubtedly influenced Star Trek and 60's sci-fi.
