Nice.

Fitting.

Sadly the video is no longer available; that's a shame because it seemed intriguing.

The main thing that held Secret of the Incas back from greatness though was not the soundtrack but the lack of action. It had so many trappings of an adventure film, but little actual adventuring.

Yeah. It looks like an adventure film but it feels a lot more like a wishy-washy version of something along the lines of The Maltese Falcon.

I feel like maybe Hollywood just wasn't quite ready to make Indiana Jones yet. It still was not normal for films to have that level of stunts and action.

Which is really odd when you consider the breakneck pace and action of serials and some of the B westerns. There are even silent era serials that have fairly relentless action and loads of stunt work. It just didn't carry over into A productions...
