Bogart's lone pure action movie

The only pure action movie that Humphrey Bogart did. It’s a WWII story about a tank crew lost in the desert. They manage to find a water hole and decide to defend it against the Jerries. Bogart treats his beloved tank like a “dame” and even gives her a name. The first hour of the film is more of a survival story. But the last half hour is one big battle. An old school war movie, but the final stand (set amongst ancient ruins) is pretty cool. 3 action rating

It's pretty damned funny that the tank is named after his old horse! Nice touch that.

Sig, you want a sig, here's a SIG-sauer!

Saw this when I was a kid and recently found it on Crackle. I didn't remember so many of the Allied crew getting KIA. The British Sudanese soldier was a bad ass. The poor Italian guy was not even considered a threat he was allowed to carry a knife, which was the instrument of his demise. Very good solid flick.
