Can you imagine this happening now?

Can you see Donald Duck in Iraq singing with Muslim terrorists whilst hailing Allah? The makers would practically be killed by the politically correct apologists.

And moreover, Der Fuehrer's face and other Disney Anti-Nazi cartoons are done with a sophistication and exactness which is noticeably absent from most of the day-to-day commment now (I feel it's superior to South Park too)

OBJECTION!

Too bad this movie doesn't degrade either the religion nor the ethnicity of its targets, unlike the movie you propose. I move that the premise of this argument is faulty on its face, and this thread be striken from the court record!

reply

All right, cool, go *beep* yourslef. This movie does have satire on Gemran, Italian and Japanese stereotypes, that's one of the things that make it so funny. So, obvisously this film does lampoon their targets ethnicity. But, I can tell your an average politically correct American, so of course you would be afraid to laugh. Anyways, yeah to make a cartoon like this nowdays would be great! However, the politically correc jerks in Hollywood would never let it get off its feet.

reply

Hey surlybob, you are nothing but a politically correct liberal a-hole who has no guts to fight for anything. It is people like you that let a madman like Hitler get away with as much as he did. Ever hear of appeasment? Yeah, that is what you and your ilk would provide for muslim extremists who want to kill this country (including you).

If you are so afraid of satire, or humor pointed at a certain group (Germans, women, muslims, etc.) then ignore the humor but leaves others free to enjoy it.

Can't take the heat, liberal? Crawl on your belly and get out of the kitchen.

Well.. While I do agree with the fact that censorship would never allow this into our cinemas nowadays, what with the media ready to strike at any possible controversy, there is a bit of difference for making fun of this war. In this movie they were making fun of an ideology (Nazism), not a religion. More importantly a religion that is extremely sensitive to any criticism of its belief. There would be controversy in every direction and personally, I wouldn't want to touch that particular subject either.

The wokeys would probally call you a Nazi for just watching it.

If I cared what the wokeys think, I guess that would matter. I would watch and laugh at a cartoon that featured stereotype muslims with big noses, beards, and crazy eyes. I have no compunction about deriding those MFers as an ethnicity, a culture, a religious group, an ideology, a political entity, or any other category they might fill. They are Caucasians and so am I, so my sentiments do not constitute racism. They do, however, arise from intense dislike and distrust. Wokesters don't like me? Meh, I can live without their love.
