Sorry folks, but you can't judge a film without seeing it. So stop it. Stop with your outrage and petitions. If you don't want to see the film, don't watch it. This is an award winning German film directed by Veit Harlan that got positive reviews from people who saw it, so I'm going to give it a chance.

Oh really? The only German made film I own is Downfall, I should develop more of an interest in world cinema tbh, there’s so many regarded as ground-breaking or classic that I have yet to view, not that I’m insinuating that this film is either.
I intend to watch M and Metropolis some time.

Hope they didn't make you pay for it. I used a bunch of white racist music in a tabletop roleplaying game scenario (Immortal Nazi hosting a Norse spirit is recruiting to create a supernatural master race) and I stole all the music off illegal download sites. I also stole banners and format from the neo-nazi sites. Stealing can be good.

too much as I recall. Was rather surprised to see a black.actor in a bit part.
Also - Suss convinced the Duke to make himself absolute ruler and destroy the liberties of the people. Subtle criticism of Hitler?
