Maybe it hasn't been shown on TCM (which I watch constantly) but I've never heard of, nor seen, this movie with some major stars in it. And I am way old and sort of an amateur film historian. I have quite a library of books about movies and stars of the classic era, but this movie (and I am watching and it doesn't ring a single little bell) is unknown to me.
shareWow. I could have written the same post. I'm 66 and love classic film. TCM has really expanded my knowledge of great movies. I recorded this earlier and just sat down to watch for the very first time and like you, had never heard of it.
By the way, do you have the book, Complicated Women, Sex and Power in Pre-code Hollywood? Or maybe you've seen the documentary on TCM with Jane Fonda narrating. One of the best books about major female stars prior to the code. I highly recommend it.
