did cars have white headlights at rear?

Or was I seeing things???

Such a small love. Such a little tear.

If you were, so was I. I even saw a car with just one headlight at the rear, on the right side.

clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am...

reply

No, they had a single tail light. Headlights are at the front... Most likely it looks white because it's a light source on black and white film.

how about the train, can you imagine hearing something like that coming down the track today, notice the bbc is being brought up, how long has bbc been around... this movie is from the mid 1930s, speaking of the 1930s, here we got the hero lead smoking and drinking through the movie, keep an eye out for funny looking old fashion moustaches. also, was that hitchcock among the dogs making his cameo for this movie? funny they made a close up of the lead's little finger, when the leading man sits down on the chair in the beginning it looks like his jacked is ripped, in the opening credits it says irish free state and one person credited only as marianne, the guys on the train are behaving like teenagers.

id been waiting for days,
in the cave to see your hot self,
but you were roaming the deserts bare,
from shining city on a hill to thousand miles from nowhere,
need you safe at home and out of harms way,
im in drought without your charm and painted face.

The BBC dates from the early 1920s as a radio service.

In the 1920s and 1930s, some cars only had one tail light. The light was red, but looks white on black-and-white film.
