Flaw in the plot

So we are to believe the crew after knocking out Kong with the gas bomb, somehow managed to get him on the ship or on a raft, all the time he remained asleep. Then after they arrived back in NYC, the crew continued to keep Kong asleep while transporting him off the boat and were able to keep him subdued all that time until the Broadway show? This makes no sense. It would have been better if the crew escaped off the island and Kong jumped into the ocean and swam after the ship and came onto land from the NY Harbor and terrorized the city. Kong could have also fought a giant sea monster in the ocean while swimming after the ship en route to NYC

reply

Kong was hibernating.

reply

Do apes hibernate? I thought only bears do that.

reply

Kong is an anomaly

reply

It could be explained that the giant bear in Son of Kong taught Kong to hibernate during the winter months I guess

reply

They kept drugging him , dumbass

reply

They should keep drugging you instead you moron!

reply

Why so rude?

reply

You were rude first

reply

What are you, 5?

reply

No, I'm older than that. Are you under 5?

reply

If Kong is anything like real-life apes, then he shouldn’t be a very good swimmer.

reply

I believe apes were all born in Africa. So since Kong lives on an island in the Pacific, the only way he could have gotten there was by swimming

reply

Orangutans are apes, and they’re native to Southeast Asia. Of course, they’re also not as closely related to humans as the other great apes.

reply

Kong is a Silverback, which means he comes from Africa

reply

You awakened two of the most ill-informed trolls on MC. Thanks!

reply

I know that Crapshoot is a huge troll.

reply

You were correct when you called the so-called Argentinian a moron.

reply

Hi there! It’s nice to know I’ve left such an impression on you, just because I insulted your lord and savior!

reply

If Kong is a gorilla, that just goes back to my earlier point. Gorillas can’t swim. Apes in general cannot swim, with the exception of humans, and even we are hardly experts at it. The simple answer here is that Kong is a completely fictional ape, so he can live wherever the filmmakers want him to.
